Publications beginning with an MWPS, NRAES, NCR, or E are handbooks while AEDs are short, one subject digests. These materials are designed to increase your knowledge of building and equipment requirements for agricultural enterprises and to help you compare building and equipment alternatives. You are strongly encouraged to obtain and study the appropriate handbooks or digests before any major investment in buildings or equipment.

Plans are listed in the index with publication numbers of four or five digits or beginning with an "OK". The OK plans are available in 11" x 16" or larger sheets.

The five-digit plans are available free from MWPS. To download a free copy, simply follow the instructions and click as shown.

The four-digit plans are 8 1/2" x 11" reduced copies of USDA plans that were released prior to 1990. These plans are listed as "NC" (no charge). When ordering, 10 NC plans are allowed per order free of charge. Orders having more than 10 NC plans are assessed 20¢ for each plan over ten. Full-size USDA blueprints are available for $3.00 per plan.
