About Me

I am from mountainous State of India in Western Himalayas, Himachal Pradesh (HP). I joined Oklahoma State University in Fall 2007. Currently, I am pursuing Ph.D. from Department of Biosystems and Agricultural Engineering under the guidance of Dr. Carol L. Jones and M.S. from Department of Industrial Engineering and Management under the guidance of Dr. Ricki G. Ingalls. I did my Bachelor's in Food Technology from Sant Longowal Institute of Engineering and Technology, Punjab and M.Tech. in Processing and Food Engineering from Punjab Agricultural University, Ludhiana. My research interests are supply chain and logistics management, supply chain modeling, physical characteristics assesment of biomass feedstock, harvest, collection, storage, and transportation of biomass feedstock, hypersepctral sensing

    • Studied moisture sorption characteristics of turmeric (Rajapuri & PCT-8 varieties) in various forms i.e. fresh, whole dried and powder at 20, 30, 40, 50 & 60 C using standard gravimetric method over a range of relative humidity varying from 20 to 90% and evaluated the best suitable equilibrium moisture content equation for the generated data
