| Assistant Researcher Introduction: Dr. Patil is involved in an extramurally- funded research program focusing on bio-fuels technology including biomass conversion to ethanol through gasifier-bioreactor route. He specializes in Energy Science and Technology with biomass gasification as the major area of expertise. Prior to coming to OSU in November 2001, Dr. Patil worked as the In-charge of the Biomass Gasification Division of Sardar Patel Renewable Energy Research Institute (SPRERI), an organization of international repute, located at Vallabh Vidyanagar in Gujarat state of India for more than 10 years.
