Biosystems Engineering boasts a diverse and high quality faculty with expertise throughout academia and industry. Included among their ranks is a member of the National Academy of Engineering, a U.S. Representative to the International Standards Organization (ISO), and two Regents Professors. Many have worked in industry or government. Their former employers include Ralston Purina, Gulf Oil, Illinois Department of Environmental Quality, and the World Bank.
