Professor and Sarkeys Distinguished Professor
Introduction: Dr. Haan, a
member of the National Academy of Engineering, specializes in
hydrology and water resource stochastic modeling. In addition
to his work at Oklahoma State University, he has served on the
faculty of the University of Kentucky, as visiting professor
at Colorado State University and as visiting senior hydrologic
engineer with SRK in South Africa. He has also served as consultant
on several assignments in government and industry. Dr. Haan has
authored six books and numerous technical papers on hydrology.
He is now an active Deacon in the Catholic Church.

in Agricultural Engineering, Purdue University (1963)
