Problem Statement
Design and develop a concept dual hydraulic cylinder system to provide high pressure flow for assisting in the steering of boring operations on a Ditch Witch compact Jet Trac unit.
About the Team
The West Central Pump Works, Inc. is composed of four Biosystems and Agricultural Engineering Senior students interested in the field of mechanical design. Ditch Witch has come to the team, looking for creative solutions to their design problem. Throughout the remainder of the school year, the team will strive to think "outside of the box" to develop the most creative, reasonable, and appropriate solution.
