Welcome to GRO Engineering's website. GRO Engineering is a consulting firm formed for our capstone senior design class as Oklahoma State University.
Our project's sponsor is Lopez Foods, Inc., a meat processing company that cooks much of the supply of the McDonalds sausage patties. The task is to design a vision inspection system that either accepts or rejects each patty as it travels down a conveyor on the basis of shape and size, so that the overlapping patties will not be conveyed into the blast freezer. "GRO Engineering is a consulting group dedicated to assisting clients in solving food design and control problems. The solutions developed will increase overall production efficiency to further the client in customer satisfaction and profit." |
