Machine Testing Lab
The 3,000 sq. ft. machine testing lab provides open space for working and testing large equipment. Sensors or new implements are fitted on equipment here, tested and modified. Shown at left is a small tractor test bed being fitted with an experimental precision management system. Note the four white sensor units mounted on the front and the sprayer hanging off the back. Travis Tsunemori, (Research Engineer and Dr. John Solie's graduate student) is connecting sensor leads to a computer mounted next to the driver seat.
