This site provides links to
groundwater information understandable by the general public.
We hope to promote the wise use of groundwater resources and
to teach responsibility in the protection of groundwater resources.
Our intent for this site is
to assist teachers and others with easily locating useable groundwater
information, which is already present, but sometimes seems hidden
on the internet! There are many other sites available on the
internet that are useful as well, this list is to give you a
place to begin your search.
We feel that in order to serve
this purpose it is important to have groundwater information
readily accessible to both the inexperienced and the experienced
internet user. Our hope is that this site will meet the needs
of all groups but primarily focus on three levels of learning.
The levels are as follows:
Audience
1 - Elementary
aged children and those that work with that age group.
Audience 2 - Junior High and High
School age students in both classroom and self instrution.
Audience 3 - Non-groundwater technical
adults who teach children in special interest groups, i.e. Girl
Scouts, Boy Scouts, etc.
Audience
1 - Elementary aged children
We have listed below the sites that seem to have very usable
and interesting information for this age area. There are many
other sites available on the internet that are useful as well,
this list is to give you a place to begin your search.
