Introduction
Derek joined the department in June 2008 as a Research Engineer and Ph.D. student. Derek has a Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering from South Dakota State University in Brookings, SD. Derek assists in research activities on several research projects including streambank stability and subsurface nutrient transport.
