These Q&A's are base in part on a Dave Barry Article, College Bound from September 29, 1988. Another relevant article is, My son's college apartment has a pleasant pepperoni motif from , November 21, 1999. (Direct links will not work.)

Q: Is there parking?
A: Yes, but it is generally not for students. Faculty and Staff get all the good spaces. Students share three parking slots behind the power plant. If a slot is not open you have to drive around in circles until one does, or you run out of gas.

Q: Are all students required to get body piercings?
A: No. Body piercing is optional at the undergraduate level, but is required if you wish to pursue a graduate degree.

Q: Is there a bank near the college that you can rob to pay the tuition?
A: Yes. All banks near campus make an effort to stock large denomination bills to ease your escape.

Q: Am I required to take a foreign language?
A: No. Foreign language instruction is integrated into your Chemistry lab since the TA's only speak Arabic.

Q: What is the best way to prepare for a test?
A: The traditional method is to keep up with the homework and read the assigned text. However, most students find they can skip those time-consuming steps and drink 14 Cafe lattés the evening before an exam and stay up all night studying.

Q: Can I turn in my homework late or make up a missed test?
A: Yes but only under these four conditions*.
Your dog eats your floppy disk.
Your apartment burns to the ground the week before finals taking your term paper with it.
Your parents refuse to make your bail for five days. (Only valid the week after Spring Break.)
Your appendix bursts during the final exam.
